Beth's Eviction Box (Quarter Lamb)

Beth's Eviction Box (Quarter Lamb)

Beth’s handing out eviction notices, and this time you don’t need to commit to half a lamb to help clear the field.

Our quarter lamb box is a smaller way to stock up on home-reared lamb, suited perfectly to somebody with less freezer room or less mouths to feed! We’re still working out the exact mix of cuts for these first boxes, so contents will depend on how each lamb butchers out. Think slow Sunday dinners, rich gravy and something well worth getting the big pot out for. You will receive roughly approx. 4-8kgs (please ignore where it says 6-9kgs in the provenance bit, I can’t figure out how to change it!), its hard to say the exact weights as they can vary a fair bit at kill out, but you'll always get exactly quarter of a lamb.

Less sheep in the field. More dinner in your freezer. Beth’s calling that a win — nobody mention next year’s flock...

Price includes all speciality packaging and 24-hour APC Overnight courier delivery. If you don't want any offal just let me know once you have ordered and I will take it out for you!

  • Provenance

The lamb comes from a small family farm in Craven Arms that we’ve known and worked with for around four years. They’ve been buying weanling cattle from us for years, so this isn’t a farm we’ve picked at random, we already know the family, the way they farm and the standards they work to.

Their flock is made up of Suffolk × and Texel × sheep, with all the lambs being spring-born in March 2026. The Texel breeding provides excellent shape and meat yield, while the Suffolk influence is renowned for producing rich, traditional lamb flavour.

  • What's in the box?

Quarter of a lamb, professionally butchered and vacuum packed. You can expect a selection that might include mince, shoulder, leg, cutlets, chops and breast plate, plus kidneys if they're available (though do write a note on the order if you really don't want them).

Exact weight varies as every animal is different, but you'll always receive between 6-9kg of lamb.

Good to know

Why buy from us?

You could buy meat at the supermarket. Nothing wrong with that. But if you'd like to know exactly where your meat came from, support a real British family farm, and eat something that was raised with a bit more care and a lot more personality, here's what you get with us:

  • Fully traceable from farm to fork
  • Directly supporting a British family farm
  • Small batch, produced only when Beth allows
  • Premium quality meat
  • High welfare standards throughout

No added water, no fillers, no mystery. British meat, professionally butchered and delivered direct from the farm. That's it.

Why the wait

We send our animals for processing only when they have matured and provide the best quality meat. This means there may be a few weeks' wait while your animal is processed, butchered and packed. We think that's a feature, not a flaw.

This isn't warehouse stock. Each batch is produced specifically for the people who've ordered it. Your meat hasn't been sitting in a freezer at a distribution centre since January.

Delivery information

All boxes are vacuum packed and delivered to your door via APC Overnight, included in the price.

When we're ready to pack your order, we'll be in touch to make sure the date is convenient for you. Someone will need to be available to accept delivery, as frozen goods cannot be left unattended.

Please note that at this time we are only able to deliver to mainland UK addresses.

Welfare & Processing

Our lambs are processed using the same full-stun system as our beef. No religious slaughter takes place at the abattoir we work with. Animal welfare matters to us from day one right through to the end of the process and we won't compromise on that.
